I’m an educator and former Medical Technologist from a small town in NC. I love science and spent several years confined within the walls of medical laboratories. I was overworked, unhappy and didn’t have much time for my other passion, teaching. I decided to leave the lab to what do what I enjoyed more.
I wanted to experience teaching in a foreign country, so I secured a Guest English Teacher position in Gangwondo, South Korea. The experience wasn’t what I expected, but it did inspire me to start this blog. I returned to The States and went back to lab work. I got bored, so I started experimenting with online teaching. I loved it!
Now, I’m happy living a digital nomad lifestyle, writing, teaching, and traveling.
I don’t travel for the purpose of tourism. I choose countries I’m interested in moving to in the future. I spend weeks to months in each country. By the time I leave, I know whether I’d feel comfortable there long term or not.
As I travel about, I blog about my experiences, give travel tips, recommend products, and a bunch of other stuff! Follow me on my journeys and gain insights into various places, ways to make money, and tips on things like products and destinations that you can take advantage of right away.
