1. Apply to Join: First things first, you need to submit an application to Fora Travel (using my link gets you a discount on your membership fee). The application will ask you a few questions. Those questions involve sharing your travel experience, your passion for the industry, and your entrepreneurial mindset. This is to get to know a bit about you and see if this is the right path for you. The membership fee is $299 per year, but with my link, it’s $249. This is a business, and running and building a business takes an investment. This is a great investment considering all the provisions provided by operating under the Fora umbrella. With Fora’s high commissions, you can cover the membership fee with your first few bookings. Maybe even the first booking, depending on the type of booking and the sales amount. Fora offers monthly and annual payment options. So, you can try it for a month and then switch to the annual membership if you feel like Fora is where you belong. So don’t be afraid to give it a try!
2. Onboarding & Training: Once accepted, you’ll be onboarded and gain immediate access to Fora’s comprehensive training curriculum. Are There Any Cons To Being A Fora Travel Agent?

Yes! I can’t think of many, but there certainly is at least one. When you start as a travel advisor with Fora, you will start on the lower end of the commission split. Fora offers a 70% commission split starting out, but as you increase your sales and hit benchmarks, your commission split will increase. Some agencies offer higher commission splits at first start, and there are others that offer much lower than 70%. However, the value, community, and support that Fora offers far outweigh the cons, in my opinion.
